The EITI Board

During the EITI Global Conference in Doha February 2009, the current EITI Board was formed consisting of 20 members representing implementing countries, supporting countries, civil society organisations, industry and investment companies.

Each Board member except the Chair is invited to have an ‘alternate' who is welcome to observe Board meetings and sit in place of absent members. A list of the members of the EITI Board 2009-2011 can be downloaded here.

Each constituency or sub-constituency determines how they wish to be represented on the Board. Guidance as to how each (sub-)constituency selected their Board members in 2009 can be downloaded here.

Agendas and minutes from all EITI Board Meetings are available here.
